Benefits Of An Online Business www.provenEbiz.com is the *best rated* make money from home site! There are many benefits of running an online based business. The internet has opened up the door for everyone to profit with an online business. An online based business gives every person willing to put in the work the chance to make huge sums of money in a very short period. Some of the benefits to running an online based business are low start up costs, huge markets to sell to (you could potentially sell to anyone in the world who has internet access), no leasing fees since your business in the cyber world, and no reason to have and pay employees. If you wanted to start a business normally you would need around 50 grand to start it up. Unless you had the cash you would have to go to your bank and get approved for a business loan. After you had your loan then you could start up your business. With the internet you could start an online based business for just a couple of hundred dollars. After you received your business loan you would then have to find a place to lease for your business. You would then need to make sure you could make your monthly rent. You would need money to pay for your daily operating costs, like electricity, gas, heat and other costs you would need to operate. With your online business your operating costs can be very minimal. You just have to pay for your internet service and hosting fees if anything. After you setup your place of operation you would then need to bring in customers. With your online business you could potentially market your business to everyone in the world. If your business is setup on a piece of land then you can only reach the people in your community. The clear advantage is having your business online. One other clear advantage of having your business online is you do not have to pay employees. You just have to pay the people you hire to help you with running your online business. This is a major benefit since you do not have to pay for employee benefits and insurance which will save you a ton of money. It is clear that running your business online has many benefits. In most cases running your business online can be very good for you. There are many other benefits of running an online based business, I just named a few. This Article was written by Eric Fields. Ecommerce Tips For Beginners - How to "Fill the Need" For Giant Ecommerce Profits

www.provenEbiz.com is the *best rated* make money from home site!

The product or service that you would like to sell is the basis of your business. The commerce part is the action of the business. Ecommerce tips for beginners abound, but they rarely start by talking about the item you will be trying to sell. Generally, you can sell anything in an ecommerce format but selling something that people want or need is a better then selling something that is just a thing to sell. Advice givers will rarely come out and say this, instead relying on more advanced tips that sound important and some times are, but this is where to begin.

What people want

Finding where the need lies is one of the first ecommerce tips for beginners that should be given. Start by carrying a pad and writing down a need when you try to do something unique, interesting or try to do that seems annoying or could be done easier. Ecommerce tips for beginners should be oriented toward the simple rather then complex. After all, it is usually the simple things that sell and the simple techniques that sell them.

Would you buy this?

One of the best ecommerce tips for beginners is to not be shy about your research. Remember that you are selling to people, not a computer screen. You may think a product is simple and fills a need, but does it? Do some research by stopping people on the street and asking a yes or no question. Would you buy a "enter your product here"?

Principles of Selling Online

www.provenEbiz.com is the *best rated* make money from home site!

By this time, should we really be talking about this? This isn't an article about online business ideas or a "How to" article on how to go about starting a successful business on the internet. This is directed more towards current ecommerce merchants and merchants that run successful businesses that see the value extending their businesses in cyberspace.

Rule number one is and will always be drawing customers into your online store. Imagination isn't the key here anymore. Gimmicky half-baked ideas and stunts geared towards promoting a website is just tacky and seems desperate. I won't elaborate, and you know what I am talking about. If you want legitimate success, try to be a bit more conservative. Join industry forums and blogs, or become active in your industry offline. At the end of the day, people want to see a face behind the screen. If your business is strictly virtual, then make that your battle cry; for every strictly internet based retailer, there are a lot of shop owners that wish that they had your overhead.

So now you have a stream of new and perspective customers beating down your door. I sincerely hope you can fill orders and support the products that you are selling, after the sale. I find this to be the single largest complaint about online merchants, and their brick and mortar counterparts exploit these failures till the cows come home, as well they should. The bottom line is that if you cannot provide technical assistance for, knowledgeably assist your customers about or act as a liaison between the customer and manufacturer pertaining to a product that you have sold... then your fate will be sealed by those who believe you wronged in exactly the same manner that started whatever mess you find yourself in. The internet can be an unforgiving and unfair environment for the wronged; fairly or unfairly. Limit your exposure and if need be, eat a little crow; it may save your reputation and future business.

Finally, my favorite part of online sales, getting paid! High volume, high profit margins and low overhead are the reasons that we became online merchants, right? Surprisingly, many ecommerce smarty-patsies have it all figured out, with staff, infrastructure and backing, only to find out that their merchant account is a two out of ten when it comes to volume, accuracy, security and cost. Essentially, every online merchant pays a higher discount rate than their brick and mortar counterparts; this is because card not present transactions are considered high risk by banks and there's little that can change that. The risks that online merchants take by processing cards online are far higher; consequently the rate of their chargebacks is much higher as well.

As this is looking like an expensive sport, the payoff is commensurate with the risk if your merchant account is in order. High volume equals high profits; don't overlook your processing limits. It's an easy mistake to make. Think of your merchant account like a credit card, but in reverse. Forecasting your business growth can hurt future sales and get you in hot water with customers whose orders were not fulfilled due to their cards not being charged. Merchant service providers prove to be an irreplaceable asset to online merchants as they can move quickly and have a lot of resources at their fingertips. International and back up merchant accounts are becoming more normal than using your local bank and trusting that they'll come through when there's a glitch.

Merchant service providers can assist in resolving issues with processors, customers and issuing banks when it comes to their merchant's accounts. Having a first line of defense when it comes to the security of your processing capabilities is worth actual dollars; dollars that merchants are not charged when using a merchant service provider. Essentially, today online vendors can have access to very competitive rates on secure processing solutions with high volume capabilities.

As these are just a few principles of selling online; there are many more depending on specific industries. Thank you for reading.

Simple But Effective Web Promotion Ideas For Beginners

www.provenEbiz.com is the *best rated* make money from home site!

There are many webmasters out there who have practically no idea as to the best ways of promoting their website. Some of the main terms such as keywords, backward links, SEO and hyperlinks can seem like a foreign language to these types of website owners. This is where this article comes in; the article aims to give basic website promotion advice to help people to obtain a higher search engine ranking position and to therefore increase the amount of people that visit their site.

There are a lot of businessmen out there who are quite old school in their approach to marketing their business. They have had success in past years with various forms of advertising including the yellow pages, newspapers and via leaflets. The birth of the internet has changed the ways in which people search for different products but the majority of these businessmen find it difficult to move with the times. They are aware of the importance of an internet presence and many of them have paid thousands for a professional looking site. Marketing the site is a whole different ball game and this is where they can become lost, confused and frustrated.

So here are the basics of web promotion:

1. Ensure that the main keywords that people are likely to enter into the search box of the major search engines are included on the homepage of your website - this is essential.

2. Attempt to gain links on other sites within your industry, this could be achieved by asking your friends and contacts to do this or by offering to write content for your competitors websites

3. Write articles about your products and marketplace and submit them to the best article directories

4. Regularly update your website with fresh unique content.

5. Add your website on all of your literature including on business cards and on any e-mails you send.

These are just a few of the basics; I hope they prove to be of use.

As the Internet became integrated with our lives, people have found e-commerce to be a great way for entrepreneurs to earn money. Here are some proven and tested tips to help you through it:

1. Take time to research. Especially if you're basically new in the world of online business, it's very important that you research. Perhaps you can look for any information about e-commerce policies, such as shipping and purchasing procedures.

2. Create a site. This is your base in your online business. Thus, make sure that it's customer friendly. You can ask a website designer for help if you aren't definite on how to go about its overall layout and design.

3. Optimize your website. Once you have your website, you will have to ensure that it is very much visible. This is where search engine optimization sets in. There are now numerous techniques on how to optimize your site, but one thing should be strictly followed: stick to those considered ethical both by webmasters and search engines.

4. Take advantage of advertising online. Besides optimizing, you also need to advertise your site. Still, you can get to choose different modes. If it's necessary, you can even purchase ad space from other websites. But since you're starting, it may be advisable to maintain your expenses to the minimum.

5. Participate in online auctions. This is a good method to use as an e-commerce business as it doesn't require you too much effort in building your own site. You can make your own page as your business hub. Moreover, it's easy to filter buyers and identify your prospective customers.

6. Select a good e-commerce software. There are many available on the Net. You can simply choose one that fits your business perfectly. However, you must be wary. Not everything you find is safe. It's best to scrutinize the software by researching the web for reviews that are commonly posted on relevant forums.

How to Put Video on Your Website

Website: www.provenEbiz.com

Do you want to increase your website sales, web-traffic, or start your own online TV talk show? Would you like to broadcast your newsletter articles or videos over the Internet to others? Has this seemed impractical because video loads too slow, takes to much web space or just seems to hard to understand. We’ll welcome to the NEW world of instant loading, user friendly web video.

You may have noticed that a large number of websites are now featuring videos, everything from music videos, to online training. News is a popular use for presenting website video. You’ve probably heard a lot about RSS (Really Simple Syndication), a format designed for sharing web content like news headlines. RSS will be covered in a future article.

Did you know?

That there are so many new advancements in online video and audio in the last year, almost anyone can have their own online radio or TV talk show, radio or television station without high fees, advanced technical knowledge, and no FCC (Federal Communications Commission) intervention or regulation. Just build a website, install your audio and/or video files, advertise, and you’re in business. You can even broadcast your audio and video files through RSS feeds (we’ll explain in a moment) to websites worldwide and Joint Venture (JV) with other website owners to include your video on their websites.

Why would you want to put video and audio on your website?

There are many reasons. We are now in the 21st Century and 2006 is said to be the year of online video. Video is a premier sales tool. You’ve heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. How many words is a video with audio worth? A LOT! More than ever, people today are in a hurry and easily distracted, and even sensitively attuned to watching television many hours a day. TV is losing some of its ground to web-surfing.

Give the people what they want, video. Entertain, inform and educate them the way they are already trained for. Now it’s easier than ever to do this. Here, we are focusing on adding video / audio to your website for various purposes such as, marketing, training, V-Blogging, video sharing and etc. New technology has made it easy to add fast loading (called Streaming) video content to your website.

Until recently, between slow dial-up Internet connections and older technology, adding video wasn't practical for general website usage. But since over 60% of individuals online now have broadband access, and the new streaming technology, audio and video files can now be viewed online with little or no buffering. Buffering means to make the video viewable to your computer (the simple explanation). Therefore, video is now a feature that can be efficiently used online. There are still size and quality limitations to consider, but the industry is making progress in this arena almost daily.

The other problem hindering website video use was its complicated installation process. It’s been very difficult for the average individual to add video files to their websites. Windows Player simplified this process but still had limitations. It played a few formats, but not the streaming .swf (Flash) files and you had to know how to install their player on your website to play the video. You needed to know html webpage code or have a program like Microsoft’s FrontPage to install the player and video on a webpage.

Now there are a few new solutions that make it easy for the average person to install video on a website without needing too much computer or webpage knowledge. If a person knows how to cut and paste a simple code into a webpage, they can ad existing video files to their site. The tutorials even teach how to do this for the absolute beginner.

The latest software is an integration of several individual modules assembled as one user friendly software package that permits anyone to convert most of the existing video formats into fast loading, high quality, and streaming website videos. This software even enables you to customize your video player, video size, and quality. There is no player or software for your website visitor to download since the player is built into your webpage and loads almost instantly.

There are many software programs available that claim it’s easy to install video on your website. Most don’t work as promised. One good suite is Camtasia, but it is complex to use and cost several hundred dollars. A good user friendly, beginners’ level, feature-rich software should cost less than $100.

Video Content

Making video for a website is very easy today. A mass amount of people now have low cost digital video cameras. Many have video still cameras. New software makes it easy for non-technical individuals to create automatic training videos and presentation from still pictures. We’ll cover this feature in the next article in this web-video series.

Digital video and still cameras easily connect to your computer to upload the pictures from your camera to your computer in a digital format. One simple conversion to the new streaming format, making a video or audio player, and pasting the new code onto your webpage and you’re in business.

Windows XP even includes “Windows Movie Maker” for editing your videos in your computer. This is beginner level software but makes high quality edits. Your video cam can give you the ability to immediately create training videos, have your own TV talk show and etc. You simply record your video on your computer, edit it if necessary, and save it in the new streaming video format. Do a series of these and you have prerecorded videos viewable by anyone with Internet access. The ONLY Correct Way to Start an Internet Business!

Website: www.provenEbiz.com

The MOST Common Online Business Startup Question

On a daily basis, I read, here, or discuss with someone, “why it is so difficult for a new online business to be successful.”

Some state, “I'm interested in starting my own Internet business but unsure what direction to go in.” And, the most puzzled of all, are experienced business persons attempting to take their existing successful business online, only to have it go nowhere. They ask, “So what resources would be able to help me make this decision?”

This is an easy question with a complex multifaceted answer. Most people want to remove the “Sinking Boat Effect” from their life. Imagine being in a small rowboat that is slowly sinking, and gradually filling up just a little faster than you can bail the water out. You see the “handwriting on the wall.” You realize you may stay afloat until help arrives. You can see help off in the distance slowly rowing out to you, but you’re not sure if you can stay afloat long enough to survive, and you’re not too happy about swimming in the water with the circling sharks.

In other words, you need to learn how to remove the “overwhelming” and helpless effect a person faces when trying to start a new online business. You work intensely for awhile, the obstacles seem to mount up, then the question of “Why isn’t it working?’ comes up; then the,”What do I do next?” confusion and frustration overwhelms you. At least that’s true for most people.

Obviously, in this brief article, we can’t cover this point in detail. Hopefully, I can point you in the right direction. If you are new to business in general, you must learn basic business principles and procedures first. Learn them at the same time you are learning the Internet. This can be done with the right courses.

If you are an experienced business person attempting to position your business effectively online, you need to analyze what you did when you first started it offline. This may seem like an overly simplified answer, and actually it is. But we have to start somewhere. The real answer is; you must learn to do business on the Internet just as you would any other form of business, especially its unique aspects.

The confusion starts with how simple it seems to start an Internet business. It’s true; it can be simpler and much less expensive to create an online business than a brick-and-mortar one. Most people think all you need is a company name, an effective website with the right bells and whistles, email, products, maybe a newsletter or Hotsheet, and you’re in business.

Nothing could be further from the truth! Why? Because this isn’t a business, it’s just an assortment of online tools. The business part involves the marketing efforts, selling, and servicing customers after the sale is made and daily operational procedures exclusive to your business and online activity. Most people know that. So why the confusion here? The basic answer here; most people don’t really understand the dynamics of online entrepreneurship.

The illusion created by having the website and related tools makes it appear you have a real business just waiting for someone to buy. If it were a brick-and-mortar retail business, you could have some walk-by or drive-by traffic, and in time referrals from satisfied customers. You would likely not have overwhelming competition in your immediate area, and could run some local advertising when needed.

What is different about the Internet? Answer this question successfully and you will be on your way to solving the online problem of confusion we referenced earlier. It is important to understand that it is a completely different animal than an offline business. It has many of the same characteristics as an offline business, but it is still dramatically different! People have different online buying patterns than offline.

Business etiquette is different online than off. Offline it is permissible to send unsolicited sales materials via postal service to the home. A mass mailing can often make it worth your while to do the campaign through generated sales. Some marketers purchase targeted mailing list that are often quite effective. It depends on variables specific to your business such as; are your customers local, regional, national, or international?

You can lose your access provider if you send unsolicited commercial sales messages through email. You must learn to develop opt-in (people subscribe to) mailing list that gives you permission to email people interested in your offering. This takes a special program and methods unique to the Internet to accomplish this project successfully. Do you know how to build an opt-in mailing list?

Everything online is virtual. Webster’s dictionary says virtual means “Computer Science. Created, simulated, or carried on by means of a computer or computer network: virtual conversations in a chatroom.”

You don’t have people walking or driving by your website. The amount of people online is staggering, in the hundreds of millions, and growing everyday. It has become the largest market in the world; yet most online businesses get little or none of the virtual traffic. Only those knowledgeable in the Internet business dynamics will succeed. Since the Internet is a virtual business, we must learn to attract virtual traffic and learn their online buying habits. Do you understand the process of how to do this?

Branding is of paramount importance in any business, online or offline. Putting customers in their comfort zone is an art form in any business, physical or virtual, and the rules required to do so are different for online businesses. Do you know them and what to do?

Please understand, I am not attempting to be insulting to you here or assert you are unintelligent. I am using this questioning approach to dramatize the important differences of doing business online. To paint a virtual image in your mind to help clarify this point.

So what is the basic answer to creating a successful online business? ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE specific to the Internets business dynamics! Where do you get this knowledge? Research and read. How do you find the best and accurate knowledge? If you are reading this article, you are already on the right path. The newsletter or article directory you found this article on will have other specific information relative to your needs.

You will need to learn what other successful Internet businesses are doing to be successful. These case histories will reveal insider information that can put you on the right road. How do you overcome the vast amount of hype online, to find the few pearls of business wisdom? For one, use you common sense. If it sounds too good to be true it it’s not true! Also, visit business forums and learn who are helping others solve their business problems. Search out expert authors’ renown for their expertise, and research their works. The same as required of you to setup any type of business.

Is there just one super course you can take that will have everything you need? Unfortunately, NO! There is one outstanding course available for everyone wanting to setup a business online the right way. There are a couple of courses on eBay marketing, written by those making millions annually.

There is only one course that stands out above all others if your plan is to develop a new product, manufacture it, and market it nationally or internationally. There is software and online services that can totally automate your website business for little cost. There is one website you can utilize free, if you need experienced consultants for website building, writing reports, sales letters, and marketing materials. And they charge about 10 cents on the dollar compared to many consultants.

If you are starting a new business, do you just take one class in college or read just one book on a single subject, accounting for example? Certainly not! You take different classes and read multiple books, each written by a specialist in that specific subject. Learning the Internet is the same as learning any other business. Don’t believe the so called “Guru’s” when they state their course is all you will need. You need to be directed to the right and best business information and resources.

Internet marketers are NOT necessarily scholars. Some write very simple without much style or pizzazz. But, if they are making a bundle online, others are emulating their systems and programs, follow their lead. They are doing it. That’s the best testimonial.

These are some of the things you need to know to setup and operate an online business. You must learn it as any other business venture. Is it difficult to learn or must you be a techie to succeed? Absolutely not!

How do you learn to go to the next level now? Visit my website listed in the signature box below and immediately download the free special report; “The ONLY Correct Way to Start an Internet Business!”

P.S. Don’t “Kill the Turtle” in your business. If you don’t know the meaning of this statement, the free special report will explain this important principle to you.

The Secret Life of E-Commerce

Website: www.provenEbiz.com

The definition of E-Commerce is: "Commerce conducted via the Internet".

Well, this simple word called E-Commerce sounds fairly easy to perform, but keep in mind that, it could take a lifetime to master.

Many of the E-Commerce businesses online today are basically small "Ma and Pa" home based businesses. Yes, that's right, the American dream of "Business Opportunities from Home" have skyrocketed and placed a warm glow into the hearts of every entrepreneur.

There are many different types of E-Commerce businesses out there on the big WWW, some are successful, but many are not.

Have you ever questioned why some E-Commerce businesses skyrocket to the top of the pack, while others never leave the ground?

Could it be that some businesses are just luckier than others? Maybe, some businesses have more money to launch their marketing campaign? How about, some just inherit masses of valued customers from nowhere that stumble into there website and spend big money on their products?

These could be your answers to the above question.

Some start-up E-Commerce websites seem to believe that their products will sell like crazy, and the people will come if they build it.

Well, I have been in the business sector for practically 40 years now, I have successfully managed businesses for wealthy owners, and owned several successful businesses of my own. I always have tried to associate myself with successful people in my life.

I genuinely believe I've found the secrets to becoming a successful business owner. I have studied many businesses throughout my life, even as I regularly maintained my own business. I have constantly looked over my shoulder watching and had carefully observed what other businesses have done to become successful.

The secrets that I will share with you today are three simple words. That's right, three simple words that will guide you to a successful business if you honestly believe in them.

These three keywords that should become your path to success are: Focus, Persistence, and Information.

Let's take a look at the first word, Focus. Any successful business person, whether it be brick and mortar, or E-Commerce, relied on being truly focused on his or her desires to accomplish their goals.

The dictionary definition of "focus" has several different meanings primarily pertaining to the human eye. One of the definitions are: "To adjust the focal length so as to effectively produce a clear image".

You must continually focus and adjust your sight on the matter at hand to award you the clearest picture in your mind, thus, allowing you to make the best decisions for your business.

Clearly focusing on your goal will additionally provide you with the complete confidence that you will need for successfully achieving your desires.

Next word, Persistence: This word stands on it own. "Continuing in the face of opposition".

No matter how well educated or affluent you may be, it just does not matter when it comes to the word persistent. Persistence must become an integral part of you, and your business plan everyday.

You must become persistent in your business practices, understanding that you will be marching continually in the face of opposition. Knowing this ahead will provide you ample time to prepare for the challenges that will be in your pathway to success.

You will always encounter difficult challenges that may initially appear at the time overwhelming. They must be properly resolved though. This is what makes good business people become ..... Great Business People.

Take time to do some history research on just about any successful person or successful company out there. Trace their roots down when they started in a one room office, a shoddy barn, or maybe at their kitchen table, writing down their business plan on a scrap piece of paper. None of those famous people or businesses would have never succeeded if it wasn't for their persistence to diligently accomplish their goals and or desires.

Here again, easy word to say, but requires you to step up to the plate when things get tough.

Have you ever asked someone to do something they never done before? Remember their answer? Probably was; "I can't do that". That phrase is probably used 95% of the time when people are asked to take on a challenge that they are unfamiliar with.

Anyone, can do anything with persistence embodied in their mind.

Having the best education provided by wealth will not guarantee success without the strength of persistence.

Finally, we come to the final secret word, Information.

More wars have been won not because of the substantial troop strength, but solely on the pertinent information that the other combatant had acquired on the aggressors weaknesses or strengths.

Knowledge is power, and power is knowledge. I am a firm believer in this statement. The more information that you can acquire on a specific subject, the more knowledgeable you become, plus, your confidence level will rise dramatically. Confidence within yourself alone will allow you to comfortably take on more challenges that you may be confronted with in your business venture.

Seeking additional information regarding your business should always be on you daily to-do list.

The e-Marketing Plan - Brief Overview and Working Scheme

Website: Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

I. Summary of a marketing plan

The marketing planning (concretized in the marketing plan) is an essential organizational activity, considering the hostile and complex competitive business environment. Our ability and skills to perform profitable sales are affected by hundreds of internal and external factors that interact in a difficult way to evaluate. A marketing manager must understand and build an image upon these variables and their interactions, and must take rational decisions.

Let us see what do we call a "marketing plan"? It is the result of the planning activity, a document that includes a review of the organization's place in the market, an analysis of the STEP factors as well as a SWOT analysis. A complete plan would also formulate some presumptions on why we think the past marketing strategy was successful or not. The next phase shall present the objectives we set, together with the strategies to achieve these objectives. In a logical sequence, we will further need to evaluate the results and formulate alternative plans of action. A plan would consist in details of responsibilities, costs, sales prognosis and budgeting issues.

In the end, we should not forget to specify how the plan (or plans) will be controlled, by what means we will measure its results.

We will see how to build the marketing plan, what is its structure: after we will see how to build the traditional marketing plan, we will take a look at the e-marketing plan and see how the unique features of the internet will require some changes in the approach of writing a marketing plan.

But, before we continue, we must understand and accept that steps of the marketing plan are universal. It is a logical approach of the planning activity, no matter where we apply it. The differences you meet from a plan to another consist in the degree of formality accorded to each phase, depending on the size and nature of the organization involved. For example, a small and not diversified company would adopt less formal procedures, because the managers in these cases have more experience and functional knowledge than the subordinates, and they are able to achieve direct control upon most factors. On the other hand, in a company with diversified activity, it is less likely that top managers have functional information in a higher degree than the subordinate managers. Therefore, the planning process must be formulated to ensure a strict discipline for everyone involved in the decisional chain.

II. The general marketing plan

The classical marketing plan would follow the following scheme of 8 stages:

1. Declaring the mission: this is the planning stage when we establish the organizational orientations and intentions, thus providing a sense of direction. In most cases, this is a general presentation of the company's intentions and almost has a philosophic character.

2. Establishing current objectives: it is essential for the organization to try to determine with preciseness the objectives to be reached. These objectives, in order to be viable, must be SMART. SMART is an acronym and stands for "Specific", "Measurable", "Attainable", "Realistic" and "Timed". The objectives must also convey the general organizational mission.

3. Gathering information: this stage is based on the concept of marketing audit. After performing the audit of the macro-environment by analyzing the STEP factors (social, technologic, economic and politic), we should turn the focus upon the immediate extern environment (the micro-environment) and analyze the competitive environment, the costs and the market. Finally, we will conclude with the SWOT analysis, by this way we will have a general view upon the internal environment compared to the external one. The SWOT analysis combine the two perspectives, from the inside and from the outside, because the Strengths and the Weaknesses are internal issues of an organization, while the Opportunities and Threads come from the outside.

4. Re-formulating objectives: after the close examination of data gathered in the previous stage, sometimes it is needed to re-formulate the initial objectives, in order to address all the issues that might have come up from the previous stage. The distance between the initial objective and the re-formulated objective will be covered by appropriate strategies. We must ensure the re-formulated objective is SMART as well.

5. Establishing strategies: several strategies are to be formulated, in order to cover the distance between what we want to achieve and what is possible to achieve, with the resources at our disposal. As we would usually have several options, we should analyze them and chose the one with more chances to achieve the marketing objectives.

6. Plan of actions: consists in a very detailed description of the procedures and means to implement the actions we want to take. For example, if the strategy implies a raise in advertising volume, the plan of actions should establish where the advertisements will be placed, the dates and frequency of the advertising campaigns, a set of procedures to evaluate their effectiveness. The actions we plan to take must be clearly formulated, measurable, and the results must be monitored and evaluated.

7. Implementation and control: consist in the series of activities that must be performed in order to run the marketing plan in accordance to the objectives set by the marketer. At this stage, it is critical to gain the support of all members if the organization, especially when the marketing plan is due to affect the organization from its grounds.

8. Performance measurement: constitutes the last but not the less important stage of the marketing plan, since we can achieve only what we can measure. In order to measure the performances achieved through the marketing plan, we need to constantly monitor each previous stage of the plan.

The marketing plan that has a feedback cycle, from 8th stage back to the 4th. That is because sometimes during the planning process, we might need to perform stages 4 to 8 several times before the final plan can be written.

III. The e-marketing plan

The e-marketing plan is built exactly on the same principles as the classical plan. There is no different approach, but there might be some formal differences given by the uniqueness of the internet environment. Many of these differences come from the necessity to ensure a high rate of responsiveness from the customers, since the e-world is moving faster and requires faster reaction from its companies, compared to the traditional offline marketplace.

Even though it is perfectly acceptable and is a common practice to use the 8-stage classic model for the e-marketing plan as well, you might want to consider the simplified version proposed by Chaffey, who identifies four major steps to build the e-marketing plan:

1. Strategic analysis: consists in continuous scanning of the macro- and micro-environment. The accent should fall on the consumers' needs that change very rapidly in the online market, as well as on surveying the competitors' actions and evaluating the opportunities offered by new technologies.

2. Defining strategic objectives: the organization must have a clear vision and establish if the media channels will complement the traditional ones, or will replace them. We must define specific objectives (don't forget to check if they are SMART!) and we must also specify the contribution of the online activities to the organization’s turnover.

3. Formulating strategies - we do that by addressing the following essential issues:

- develop strategies towards the target markets;

- positioning and differentiating strategies;

- establish priorities of online activities;

- focus attention and efforts on CRM and financial control;

- formulate strategies for product development;

- develop business models with well-established strategies for new products or services, as well as pricing policies;

- necessity for some organizational restructuring;

- changes in the structure of communication channels.

4. Implementing strategies: includes careful execution of all necessary steps to achieve established objectives. It could refer re-launching of a website, promo campaigns for a new or rewritten site, monitoring website efficiency and many more.

Note: a common strategy to achieve e-marketing objectives is the communication strategy. The steps to built a coherent communication plan will be presented within a further article.

Make Money Quick From Low Free Web Site Traffic

Website: Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

Admittedly, you will need to be very creative to make quick money from your low free traffic web site.

Here's an example of the sort of creativity you will need to maximize on the money you can make from a low traffic site. If you have a site where you are selling services or products, you can apply to join the Western Union money transfer affiliate program and then get most of your clients to send you money using your affiliate link. That way you'll maximize on your low traffic by earning money both from the product and the actual money transfer. This is a very viable idea because although most people use credit cards and services like Paypal to transfer money online, there are those who for various reasons do not use these services.

But actually success with a low traffic site does not necessarily need to come from affiliate programs. What should happen is that there are certain things that every low traffic web site needs to be doing all the time to maximize on their immediate income.

The first thing that every low traffic blog and web site must do is to establish a system for capturing email addresses from those who visit their site. The whole idea is to have a constantly growing opt in email list of their targeted audience. In the long term the list will grow large enough to be very profitable to the site owner. In the short term, it has the potential of maximizing income from low traffic. It guarantees that the site will get plenty of repeat traffic. This repeat traffic is valuable in terms of boosting revenue for any site.

Anybody can make quick money from their low free traffic web site, you just need to know how to do it.

Make Money Online Selling Other People's Products

Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

Every year customers spend millions of dollars on the internet purchasing different products. Entrepreneurs everywhere have been racking their brains to develop their own merchandise to sell on the internet. But how can you make money online selling things if you don’t have your own product? Now, thanks to affiliate marketing programs, you can make money online selling other people’s products.

In order to understand what affiliate marketing is, you should imagine that you are having lunch with a friend and admiring his briefcase. You compliment him on the briefcase and he, of course, offers information about the store where he purchased it. Affiliate marketing is simply making those types of referrals on the internet through a link on your web site or blog.

As an affiliate marketer you are provided links created by the advertiser, or company that is selling the product. You then insert these links into your web site. As visitors to your site follow the link to the advertiser’s web site and purchase the product you earn a pre-determined commission. The process is as simple as that.

As an added bonus, affiliate marketing makes it possible to make money online selling products that you are passionate about. For instance, perhaps you enjoy crafts and have a web page that displays content related to sewing or crafting. One article on your site may discuss your favorite brand of sewing machine. A well-placed link to the web site that sells that same machine would allow visitors to your web site to click through and purchase the sewing machine for themselves.

Consider signing up for one of the affiliate marketing programs to increase your income. Affiliate marketing programs are wonderful opportunities to make money online. By helping to drive traffic to advertisers’ web sites, you can share in sales revenue without ever having to design, create, or ship a product.

Why You Will Probably Never Make Money On The Internet

Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

Have you asked yourself, will I ever make any money online? Let me help you out here. No you will never make any money online unless you do what I am going to write about in this article.

Probably the number one question I get every week in an email is "how do I make money on the Internet?" What they should be saying is will I make money online, or can I really make money on the Internet. Again I am going to burst your bubble and tell you right now, no you will probably never make any money on the Internet.

My Team-Schuman.web site contains information on making money online and making money at home. This would include such things as work at home, marketing on the Internet, social marketing, advertising and promotion, how to blog, get paid to take surveys, mlm, pay per click advertising, SEO, and more.

The reasons most of you will never make any money online is you will not learn the things I just listed. Has anyone ever to you that. Probably not, because they want you to buy their reports and ebooks full of secrets. There are no secrets.

If you really want to make money online you are going to have to learn a few things. Do you need to learn everything I listed above? NO! First you have to learn something.

If you would pick one way to market online then you could make money over and over again selling virtually any product. Did you catch that? Pick one way to promote something and then do it until you have mastered it.

For me that was writing articles because I understood that people were going online to research things. Once I figured out the questions I started providing the answers.

Can I Make Money Online?

Yes, but you probably will not! Not only will you not learn one way to market online, you will not put in the effort it is going to take. Here's an example of what I see. People really want a job like doing data entry or typing at home. Even getting paid to do surveys on the Internet takes a lot of work to get it going.

What happens is you join a paid survey program and start joining the companies looking for workers. You see no money so you quit. Really what you did was spend a fews hours and then you quit and went on to something else. It does not matter what you do to make money you are going to have to work harder for awhile.

There is this a learning curve to and most of you will never understand that.

I am serious. If you really want to answer the question of whether you will ever make money on the internet you need to be honest with yourself. What do you know how to do right now? If I put you in a room with 100 people and I was only going to choose 3 people to work with for the next year, why should I choose you?

You are probably going to say things like I am a motivated person, or I really need to make money for ???, or I want to quit my job and stay home with my kids, etc., etc. Think again. You just listed reasons that millions of people go online everyday for. But this is not why I should hire you. This is why you want me to hire you.

I am looking for answers like I know how to create a capture page, I am an excellent network marketiner, I know how to post in forums, etc. Do you see the difference? These are skills that you need.

So when you ask yourself will I ever make any money on the Internet you can honestly say YES!

Few would argue that we all own too much stuff. Indeed, there's a movement afoot that encourages people to get out of the habit of conspicuous consumerism and get into the habit of mindful consumption. Some people make the decision to dispose of belongings because they have become a burden, and getting rid of clutter gives people the physical and psychological space they need to bring more meaning into their lives. Others are concerned about the negative impact that consumerism has on our planet. Still others are selling items because they're facing distressing economic times, with the housing market in freefall, gas prices hitting all-time highs, and unemployment on the rise.

A Global Marketplace

Whatever reasons you might have for letting go of your belongings, there's never been a larger or more diverse marketplace. Long gone are the days when you had to use classifieds in the local paper to try and find a buyer for your unwanted items. Thanks to pioneers like eBay and craigslist, hundreds of millions of people all over the world are comfortable finding trading partners online, buying and selling goods worth a cumulative value of billions of dollars a year.

Online Classifieds Gaining Momentum

Although the pioneers are still around, an increasing number of people are turning to other sources of online classifieds to sell their unwanted items - whether it's a knick-knack, an appliance, a car, or even a home. Moreover, some of these sites also feature job listings and other services that are in demand.

Sense of Community

What makes these online classifieds unique? First, the best sites allow people to sell their personal items for free, and to sell their homes or cars for less than ten dollars. That's a far cry from the enormous fees that an online marketplace like eBay charges when you list and sell an item.

Second, a site that features online classifieds develops a unique sense of community. Trading partners develop trust in one another - and sometimes even become friends. The community ground rules and tendency for people to look out for one another generally makes online buying and selling safe and rewarding.

Third, regardless of your motivation for wanting to get rid some of your belongings, it pays to sell them online. Not only will you get money for your items, but you'll also contribute to the growing movement to reuse and recycle. After all, why should your stuff sit in a landfill when someone else could give your belongings a second life?

What to Sell

The beautiful thing about online classifieds is that you can sell virtually anything. A great place to start is by going through your closet. The chances are good that you have clothing that either doesn't fit or that you haven't worn in years. Aside from apparel, you can sell everything from electronics and furniture to sports equipment and electronics. A good rule of thumb is that, if you haven't used it in the past year, you probably don't need it.

When you sell the items you no longer want, you can unclutter your life, provide someone else with a great deal, and put money in your pocket. Now, that's a winning proposition!

Do you love to read?

Several sites will pay you to review books. Authors are looking for reviews to either post on their website or include in their promotional package. Not only do you get free books, you are also paid a small fee.

Mystery shopping is a fun Internet business. It requires going to businesses and evaluating their services and cleanliness of the establishment. Not only are you paid back a set amount for a buy you are told to make, but you keep it too! This does require you to do some acting and it's helpful if you have a scanner and a fax machine.

Many companies not only want their reports on-line but also want a paper invoice and a receipt for the purchase before they pay. Paying Off Student Debt – Is a Home Business the Answer?

website: Excellent Work from Home Ideas & Opportunities!

With study costs escalating and an increasing number of graduates entering the job market, finding the job of your choice is becoming more and more difficult. Getting a foot on the career ladder, in a position which not only supports you, but also enables you to pay off your student debts is not easy. The average graduate in the UK leaves university with a debt of £14,000 and can expect a salary of around £22,000. So it doesn’t take a mathematical genius to work out that student debt is likely to linger into middle age.

There have been tragic stories of suicide amongst young people unable to bear the heavy burden of such a large debt at the beginning of their working lives. In addition, many more young people are forced to return to their parents’ homes after college, because they simply cannot afford to pay rent, never mind consider taking on a mortgage.

Is there a way in which to reverse this trend? On an individual basis it is certainly possible to set up an extra stream of income and one of the best ways of doing this is to establish a home business. However, anyone planning to do so needs to do a considerable amount of research beforehand.

The internet offers a huge array of business opportunities, many claiming to make participants wealthy without doing anything resembling work. Whilst it is much easier to establish a business online than offline and is usually a great deal less expensive, it still requires hard work. So, tempting as offers of a turnkey system may be, don’t be fooled that it will run on autopilot. It’s good to have a system already in place, but remember that people won’t just come because you have a website – you have to market it.

If you are a graduate in a low paying day job, you should ensure that you have enough time and energy in the evenings and at weekends to work on the business. This may be difficult, especially if you were used to partying as a student. However, the first few years will be the most difficult and if you persevere you could reach the point at which you can not only pay off the debt, but also quit the day job.

When considering which business opportunity to choose, there are a few questions you should ask. The first of these should be, does the product or service really interest me? You’ll be spending a lot of time dealing with it and so it needs to fire you up if you are to survive the inevitable failures along the road to success.

If you are considering network marketing in some form, do you believe in the opportunity? Is it something that you truly believe will work for yourself and for others? Just because it works for some people doesn’t mean it will work for you. What does it involve? Are you expected to make cold calls, persuade your friends to sign up and are there high monthly fees which could accumulate over time if you don’t introduce new prospects?

One of the most important factors to consider before entering any business, is supply and demand. No matter how passionate you are about a particular product, there is no guarantee it will sell if current demand is low or existing supply outweighs demand.

If you have determined that a good sized market exists, you need to be sure that you can reach that market quickly and easily, which in terms of internet marketing, means knowing where your potential customers “hang out” online, what they search for, how to get them to your site and what will bring them back.

Creating wealth online is more difficult than it was a few years ago, but it’s still possible. The internet changes rapidly – what worked last year or even last week may not work today and so you need to keep up to date and to be extremely flexible in your approach.

In order to succeed in an online business you need a combination of research and hard work, together with a willingness to learn new techniques and to put them into practice.

Pop and Mom Online Business

Website: Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

The internet has been deemed as an equalizer that gives small businesses as much marketing power and reach as their larger business counterparts online.

But is this really true?

Can a Mom and Pop operation reap the same level of success by creating a website as a larger business?

The truth is that online, no one knows the size of your business…unless you choose to tell them!

Success online is for small and large businesses alike and is a question of:

1) the nature of the products you are selling

2) the target market - who you want to sell to

3) Special, unique product characteristics

4) the existing management structure of the small business

Let’s get some examples.

Exactly what do you plan on selling? Take this example.A grocer that retails oranges and eggs and flour is probably better off running ads in his local newspaper than expecting to generate sales online….of course there is always the question of ‘unique packaging’ that we will discuss further on! Just the cost of packaging and delivery will make such a service a bit prohibitive since these items are relatively inexpensive.

Considerations when deciding what to sell online include – the shelf life of the product, cost of packaging, availability of the product elsewhere verses the worth of the product. Selling an inexpensive product is practical only if you intend selling hundreds of them or there is no delivery cost attaches!

Of course larger businesses will be able to save if they do bulk shipping and special packaging at wholesale prices but at the end of the day is the additional cost really worth it for even the large business?

Who do you plan on selling to? What are the chances of someone in Africa ordering 4 oranges from Canada or on the other extreme Mr. Y who lives one block away ordering his oranges and waiting three days for delivery when he can just take a five-minute stroll to the grocery store!

However, if Mr. Y one block away can email his month’s shopping list and have it waiting when he gets there, he just might place that order online!

Maybe Mr. Y uses a wheelchair and needs his order delivered or is too busy looking after the two year-old twins! We have defined a niche market!

Consider who needs your products before going full blast ahead.

What makes your product special? Almost any idea can work…you just need to find a unique way of making the product stand out from the crowd (differentiation they call it!)

Are your products exotic...for example, are the oranges that the grocer above sells, exceptionally sweet, the size of a football and last for up to three months un-refrigerated ….you can’t blame the guy in Africa for placing an order then!

Do you offer an exceptionally high level of personalized service ?

Know what unique qualities will make you stand out from other players in the market!

Who manages the business? Suppose the owner of the grocery store is so busy handling his walk in customers that he ignores the online orders.

Well then he needs to hire a web savvy high school student part time!

Don’t get a website unless you plan to devote time to making it work for you or you plan on hiring someone to do it!

Being online requires timely responses, exceptional customer service and the regularly updated product information. These skills are not dependent on business size; they are dependent on smart business management.

You don’t have to be that web literate to succeed online…you just need to have the right people in your corner and the attitude to succeed.

Small Business, Big Business (online Business)

How to Create an Effective Internet Business Website

Website:Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

An Internet business can rise and fall based on more then just the quality of the product or service they provide. Marketing your product or service can make or break your Internet business because if you don't promote your business effectively then you could end up with a garage full of extra inventory. Therefore it is imperative that you create a website campaign for your Internet business to avoid financial loss and the feeling of failure.

How should you create your website? What information should you put on your website? First of all let's change the singular “website” to the plural “websites”. Yes, you should have more then one website for your Internet business. Many Internet website and graphic designers will advise that you have one major website for your Internet business. This is not the way to go.

Why? There are many reasons, but one major reason is that if you have only one website then you are barraging your potential customer with too many options. Having a long list of links on your website can drive your customer away from actually purchasing your product or service. Providing information regarding your company can be helpful, but also may become a distraction for potential customers.

How many websites should you have for your Internet business? It varies depending on your product and scope of services, however in general you should have the following three main websites: a branding website, a sales letter website, and a power squeeze website page.

What is the purpose of these three main websites? What information should you place on these websites? The major goal is to minimize the number of distractions on each website which can lead to a higher sales conversion rate. Create a website environment in which one major task is assigned to each website.

Following is information regarding the purpose and content necessary for the three major types of websites.

1) Branding Website: The purpose of the branding website is to brand you and/or your Internet business. Successful businesses create a marketing brand that a customer associates with their company. The sole purpose of the branding website is to promote your brand. You do not sell your product or service at this website.

2) Sales Letter Website: The sole purpose of this website is to sell your product or service. You can provide purchasing information on this website and allow your customers to purchase directly from this website.

3) Power Squeeze Website Page: The sole purpose of this website is to capture personal customer information. When customers reach this page you should request their first name, last name, and email address at a minimum. It is vital to capture this personal information as it enables you to build a relationship with the customer and market to them over and over in the future. The Power Squeeze Website Page should come right before the Sales Letter Website.

Incorporate these three websites into your Internet business websites to capture personal information, create customer relationships, and create an environment that effectively promotes sales conversions. Skip the old way of doing business with one website and diversify your portfolio of Internet business websites for financial gain and business success.

Successful Marketing for Home Based Businesses

Website: Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

'A successful marketing strategy is not based on doing what you like but liking what you do...'

Are you looking for information to build and grow a home-based business? If so, you are in the right place! Here you will find information on implementing a successful marketing campaign and growing your home based business.

The Problem

Many home-based business owners don't know how to best market their businesses. Some ignore marketing altogether, hoping that customers or website visitors will appear out of thin air. Others market in a scattershot way producing untargeted traffic or unqualified prospects. Either approach will keep you from achieving your business potential and reaching your financial goals and possibly even damage your reputation.

The Solution

Whether you've been thinking about starting a home business or you're already a seasoned home-based business owner, the principle remains the same. Your business' survival and success rests on how effectively you market your business or product. Examine some of the following marketing strategies and tools to help you boost your home based business profits.

Home-Based Business Advantage

Low overhead costs, no commute to work and the ability to work around your children are some of the few advantages for home based business owners. Gear your marketing efforts to capitalize on these and other home-based strengths including:

Adaptability - Information Technology has escalated the rate of change in the marketplace. To survive and thrive, you must be prepared to act, and act quickly. As a home-based business owner, you can make adjustments instantly, without having to cut through the red tape of bureaucratic decision-making procedures common in larger businesses.

Technology - Computers, the Internet, PDA's, and other emerging technologies can take home based businesses to a more level playing field with bigger companies, empowering home based business owners to accomplish tasks that used to require hiring staff to perform. Try to keep up-to-speed with technology.

Flexibility. - Unlike traditional businesses that require full-time attention and high overhead costs, home based businesses can be operated part-time, at low cost, and depending on your financial goals can be phased into full-time operations.

Taking Your Business To The Next Level

A common reason home businesses fail is because owners neglect the up-front planning needed to position their ventures. Once you have defined your market position and where you want to take your business in the 12 months you will have moved one step closer to success.

If you already have a business begin by taking inventory of where your business is right now. What specific goods and services do you provide? How do you set yourself apart? What is your business' reputation? How are you perceived by your customers or clients as far as your prices, reliability, and other elements of your products or services?

The next step is to project where you want to take your business in the 12 months. What market position do you want to occupy? Is the niche market you want large enough? How will your benefits outsell those provided by the competition? Do you have the ability, capital, resources and support to make your market position a reality? Your answers will give you the information you need to begin designing or updating your marketing plan.

Planning Ahead

Once you have determined where you want to go, outline the essential steps to get there. Begin by writing a one sentence purpose (mission) statement for your marketing campaign. The rest of your plan should include a brief description of each of the following:

Benefits of your products and services.

Your target market.

What marketing tools will best help you achieve your mission.

Your market niche. What sets you apart in the market place.

Your marketing budget.

Keep your marketing plan brief. The more concise you make your marketing plan, the more effective it will be in evaluating your marketing efforts.

Finding Your Niche

This is often the hardest task for a beginning home-based business owner but also one of the most crucial. In order for your venture to survive in a competitive marketplace, you must distinguish yourself from other businesses and find a niche. What makes your business unique? Why should someone choose to buy from you over a competitor? Prospective clients want to know. If you can give them a compelling answer, you will position yourself as a leader in your industry boosting your profit potential. Research your market thoroughly before jumping in.

Marketing Tools

No matter how you choose to publicize your business, one quality will set you apart from your competitors: The ability to write effective ad copy. You're vying for the attention of consumers bombarded each day with advertisements. It is estimated that the average person is exposed to over 1,200 advertising messages per DAY! Make sure your advertisement stands out from the rest of this 'noise'.

When you have determined your market position and drawn up a marketing plan you are ready to start spreading the word about your products and services. One effective way is using the existing offline media in your area. You have a variety of media choices depending upon your target market and your advertising budget including magazines, newspapers, television, radio, and the internet. Start by evaluating how and where your competitors advertise. What's working for them? Take their best ideas; then design your own winning layout, positioning yourself as having the best offer.

The Importance of Headlines

As the first phrases seen in advertising copy, headlines should arouse enough interest in the reader so that they will want to read or listen on to learn more about your business or product. To get ideas about what headlines will work best for you, scan different types of ad copy, particularly those from your competitors. Create a swipe file of different ads and ideas that you come across from different sources. But remember to be careful of using other peoples copyrighted material.

Capture your customer's interest with a compelling statement of offer

Highlight the most important benefits

Offer extreme value

Make a call strong call to action.

Testing Your Ads

Advertising can be expensive, but for just about any business a mandatory investment. To get the most out of your ads, test them by the following criteria:

What is the quantity of leads or prospects that the ad generates? Compare this amount in terms of a unit cost of advertising (dollars in advertising per leads generated).

How many of these leads convert into sales? Different advertising media due to the audiences they target will vary in the numbers of actual closes.

Continually check the response from your ads, make changes or run a new ad if necessary. Use ad trackers and keep testing, testing testing until you achieve the response required.

Internet Marketing

Imagine! You can have a salesperson working for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week even while you sleep. A web site and effective use of e-mail marketing can turn your small home-based business into a global business putting you on a level playing field with large corporations. With easy and afforbable web design tools getting a web site up and running is within reach of everybody.

Sell Benefits Not Features!

Any seasoned business owner knows that it costs five times more to sell to a new prospect than to an existing client. Studies show that each satisfied customer will spread the good word about your business to at least one other person. On the reverse side of the coin a dissatisfied customer will complain to up to five or ten potential customers. Your mission in getting customer referrals to turn passive satisfied customers into actively enthusiastic supporters who will promote your business. The best way to do this is through:

Offering outstanding value to your customers

Delivering your product on time.

Solving customer's problems.

Maintaining regular contact with customers through feedback forms

Following up your customers regularly.

Creating long-term relationships with customers.

Personalising your product or service.

Finally...

Whether you're just launching your home based business or have been building one for years, don't allow lack of information keep you from achieving your financial dreams. Study your marketing options and decide which marketing strategy will best position you for long-term success.

Is It Still possible To Make Money On the Internet?

Website: Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

Many people are saying that the internet is dead. So is there still money to be made on the Internet?

The answer is a definite YES.

Research shows, time and again, that consumers want to spend more online, and that the internet is fast becoming an integral part of their lifestyle and it'll continue to be so. Internet consumers are cautious and they want sites that are credible and worth shopping before they part with their money.

The traditional brick-and-mortar rules of business still apply to internet business. It's prudent to remember that the internet is not your business goal; it's a medium in helping you achieve your business goals.

Adhere to my following Rules and you'll be on your way to building a viable, sustainable and successful internet business.

1. Develop a viable business plan

The biggest reason why so many dotcoms failed is an inadequate business plan of how and when they will achieve profitability. To have a successful and sustainable internet business, developing a viable business plan from the outset is crucial.

Your plan must have a clear and sincere vision that has meaning to you and your business. Your main focus should be to 'plan to profit within a set period of time' and this would require you to allow time for thoughtful researching, planning, execution and testing. You'll need to test out your business model first and ensure that it's viable and sustainable.

Don't make the same mistakes that many dotcoms made - trying to build a global brand before their business model even worked as it'll lead you into receivership faster.

Regardless of how fanciful and good your website is, if your aim is not to make profit, you'll go out of business.

2. Model someone successful

It's always wise to learn from the mistakes of other people rather than to learn from your own mistakes as this can sometimes be very costly and painful.

Track and learn from benchmarked success stories, be they your competitors or otherwise. Why would you want to spend time re-inventing the wheel when you can learn from those who have already been there and done it successfully. Learn how they design their website, create products, write salescopy, their sales process, etc.

3. Focus on a niche market

Don't be everything to everybody by trying to dominate a huge and general market because you just simply can't do it effectively.

Focus your internet business on a targetable portion of the market or a narrowly defined group of potential customers. Address the need for a product or service that's not being addressed by mainstream providers. The advantage of this is that it's less competitive in such a market as large businesses won't want to be in it.

For this to be effective, the market niche that you're targeting must be fast moving, its customers accessible and there mustn't already be a dominant player in that particular market niche.

The key here is to find a niche market, assess the needs of the market and then offer them your products and/or services that meet their needs.

4. Differentiate your business

To capture a larger market share and be viable, sustainable and profitable, you need to differentiate or distinguish your business from your competitors; make your business special in the eyes of your customers and/or prospects.

You can do this by creating what's called a Unique Selling Propostion or USP and then effectively convey that USP to your target market via your marketing efforts and business performance.

This's particularly crucial if you're operating in a highly competitive market.

A USP is the one thing or idea that sets your business favourably apart from your competitors. Think about these questions: "What's the one thing that makes your business unique and distinct? Why should people buy from you and not from your competitors? Do you promise great value, benefit or service?"

Your USP is the focal point around which the success and profitability of your business is built and so you must be able to state it and fulfill it honourably and effectively.

5. Spent your funds wisely

Costs is one of the major determinant of your internet business's survivability. You'll need to carefully track and control your costs from the outset and make sure you can start to show a profit soon, as unmindful spending with no thought given to incoming resources will bleed you to death.

Credible websites not only require money to set up but also to maintain; advertisement costs money. Driving traffic to your website where you lose money on sales made is suicidal. Do your sums; consistently refer back to your vision to ascertain whether an expense is warranted or meaningful.

6. Superior customer service

In addition to a viable business plan, a superior customer service will be key to your success.

Superior customer service must be a high priority in your action plan. Build a trusting and long lasting relationship with your customers and prospects, send your staff for customer service training, fulfill your orders promptly, and constantly remind yourself the reason of your very existence.

This is crucial as it costs five times more to win a new customer than it costs to keep an existing customer. Moreover, a dissatisfied customer will tell, on average, five or six people about your bad service. The point I'm driving at here is that looking after your customers saves money and boosts profits.

Learn and apply what I teach you, do it right, and you'll rise above your competition and blow them out of the water in no time.

Why You Need to Become Respected in Your Field

Website: Excellent Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

Search engines are now starting to penalise websites that link to other irrelevant websites. Search engines are incredibly important to online success. The chances are that once your website is established, much more than half of your website traffic will come from people who have found your site after searching for a particular query. In the past, all you had to do is swap links with other websites to achieve a high search engine ranking for your chosen keyword phrases in your meta tags.

Google changed the web

However, in 1998, Google - which was founded by former Stanford University students Sergey Brin and Larry Page - created 'Page Rank'. The search engine world hasn't been the same since. It's becoming harder and harder to 'trick' your way to the top. And even if you manage, the chances are that you'll crash out of the most important search engine rankings (Google, Yahoo and MSN) and never be seen again for a few months. So how do you give yourself a much greater chance of getting to the top of search engine results and staying there?

Appear in industry relevant blogs and discussion forums every week

You need to become respected in your field. To achieve this online, every week you have to appear in the blogs and discussion forums that are relevant and popular in your industry. Whatever business you're in, there must be at least a dozen global and a couple of local websites that you can start discussing your business sector on right now. One of the best places to start out is Technorati, where you can search around 40m blogs. Google have also recently introduced a specialist Google Blog Search.

To be respected in your field, you have to at least appear to be informative and impartial. Don't overtly advertise in your blog comments. The chances are that when you've registered with the industry specific forums, or whenever you post your comments on the industry specific blogs, you'll be giving your business name and URL (website address). This means that every comment you make will be accompanied by a link to your site. If somebody appreciates your comments and wants to find out more about you, they will.

Think long term, viral growth

If you're consistent and persistent about placing relative comments on other industry specific websites each and every week, search engines will start to love you. They will deem you an expert in your chosen field and reward you accordingly by ranking your website highly. It won't happen overnight, but sooner or later other websites will start referring to you as the expert that you need to be. Before six months are out, if you stick with it, you'll start to feel the compounding effects of viral growth.

eCommerce for Import Export Companies

Website: Excelelnt Work From Home Ideas & Opportunities!

This year, according to eMarketer, one billion people worldwide will have Internet access and nearly 250 million households will have broadband. Although, Asia accounts for 56 percent of world population, but only 10 percent has access to the Internet at present. With the rapid economic development of Asian countries this figure will increase dramatically in the coming years. This ubiquitous presence of the Internet is forcing companies to embrace the Internet as a marketing and sales channel aggressively. Many companies have adopted Internet based technologies to streamline their crucial business processes and benefiting enormously from it.

Import Export companies are no difference! Most export import companies are using the Internet to augment customer base, tap into new markets, research competitors, find new products and evaluate country opportunities. However, many of these same companies are still slo
